Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when you are entitled to a refund for purchases made on OneInvite, operated by The Muslim Studio. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. What you are buying

OneInvite sells digital products and services, namely:

  • Invite unlock — £4.99 (one-time): a single payment that unlocks premium features for an invitation, such as removing OneInvite branding and downloading high-resolution files. This is digital content delivered electronically and made available immediately.
  • Custom work — £49 to £199: a bespoke design service where we create or adapt an invitation to your requirements. This is a personalised service carried out specifically for you.

2. Digital content and your right to cancel

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase. However, for digital content that is supplied immediately, that right is lost once supply has begun with your consent.

When you unlock an invite for £4.99, you expressly request immediate access to the unlocked digital content and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the unlock has been delivered. We therefore do not generally offer refunds for completed invite unlocks.

3. When we will refund the £4.99 unlock

We will refund the one-time unlock if:

  • you were charged in error or charged more than once for the same invite;
  • the unlocked features did not work as described and we are unable to fix the problem within a reasonable time; or
  • you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer law.

Because the content is delivered instantly and is personal to your event, we cannot refund simply because you changed your mind after the unlock was delivered.

4. Custom work

Custom design work begins only after you have approved the scope and paid the agreed fee. Because this is a personalised service:

  • if you cancel before we start work, you are entitled to a full refund;
  • if you cancel after work has started, we may retain a reasonable amount to cover the work already carried out, and refund the balance;
  • if the delivered work materially fails to meet the agreed brief, we will first offer to revise it; if we cannot put it right within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at oneinvite@themuslimstudio.com with the email address used for the purchase, the invite or order reference, and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

6. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take several business days for the refund to appear on your statement. We do not charge a fee for processing refunds.

7. Your statutory rights

As a consumer you have legal rights in relation to digital content and services that are faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable skill and care. This Refund Policy does not limit or replace those rights. For more information about your rights, contact your local consumer advice service; in the UK this is Citizens Advice.
